SEBURO MN-23 - Modifying Stock

Destination

Fix the Stock(pads) by screws to be disassembly.
Make the Stock suede finish.

Operation

Add stays

Add upper stay Attach long-nuts right and left side of the Mechanical BOX of FA-MAS, by using the hole which top and back-end of the BOX.

Add collar Make holes and bond collars on back-side of the Stock(pads).

Install the Stock

one side installed Put another long-nut in the slot for butt plate on the Lower Frame. Butt plate must be recessed for the long-nuts.

Install Stock Insert the Cheek Pad.
Though upper screw position is different from the Original Design, it's also not so bad.:-)

Velour finish

Suede finish spray had been sold from ASAHI-PEN, but already gone out of production. Similar paint in institutional use is also available, but difficult to get small quantity for personal use. Or better yet, tried to bond material-self on the stock.
Synthetic suede also available, but also difficult to get small quantity. Postpone suede finish, in this time, use material, velour material.
Cheek Pad Stock Pads Difficult to see difference on this photo. Adhesive for leathers, clothes and plastic in mainly used, and edge separation must be sticked by instant glue.

Install Tactile impression is very good. :-)
