One just has to wonder on rigidity of Fore Grip. It says right in MN-23 User Manual that Fore Grip is fixed to Lower Frame by only one 6mm bolt.
Strengthen this part without effect on its appearance by preference.
Cut Outer Barrel 90mm off then thread cutting on 35mm length by M12X1.0 cause Outer Barrel's diameter is φ12mm.
Cut Inner Barrel 173mm off from forefront to let it stick out of Outer Barrel about 5mm.
Replace 3mm flat head tapping screw to 4mm, for resistance movement of Outer barrel to the axial direction.
At the same time, fix the upper side of FA-MAS's Frame by using 3mm screw and nut, against reactive force of the tapping screws.
Cut a groove inside of Upper Frame to make clearance against the screws and the nut above-described.
Produce a Dummy Nut(left)[2002.10.09 correction] and a Muzzle(center).
Passingly make a Replacement Muzzle(right) that lies in original design.
Insert Upper Frame and superpose Barrel Fixing Part A. Tighten lightly Dummy Nut over them.
Inner Barrel has been changed to KM KIKAKU's TN Barrel φ6.04 for good target grouping.
The grouping has came better with slight longer barrel(170mm cut) and MARUZEN's 0.25g Accuracy BB. A report of that will available at a later date.(^^;
Insert Fore Grip
Tighten solidly Muzzle by using pin spanner wrench that commonly used to tight a chuck of hand grinder. Then tighten Fore Grip Fixing Bolt.
Hereby rigidity around the Fore Grip was increased, and decreased creaking on brandish.
